By bus or train

During the day, bus N.131 or N.132 to Eppan depart every 15 minutes from the bus station next to Bolzano railway station. The bus stops in Appiano are Appiano Stazione/Bahnhof or Appiano - Crocevia/Kreuzweg.

By car

Coming from the South: from the Highway A22 take the exit „Egna/Neumarkt", continue on the state road towards Caldaro/Kaltern and then on to Appiano/Eppan. At the roundabout (at the junctions to Monticolo/Montiggl and Cornaiano/Girlan) turn into the via Stazione/Bahnhofstraße and follow the signs for the centre, then follow the signs for Piganò/Pigenò.

 

Coming from the Pass Brennero/Brenner : from the highway A22 take the exit „Bolzano Sud/Bolzano South", continue on the dual carriageway Mebo  towards Merano/Meran, then the exit „Appiano/Eppan", continue towards San Michele-Appiano/St. Michael-Eppan. Take the first entrance to the village on the right, at the military barracks turn left, follow the road until you reach the next junction, then keep right towards the centre and follow the signs for Pigenò.

 

Coming from the pass Resia/Reschen: take the dual carriageway MeBo, then the exit „Appiano/Eppan“, and follow the signs for San Michele-Appiano/St. Michael-Eppan. Take the first entrance to the village on the right, at the military barracks turn left, follow the road until the next junction, keep to the right and follow the signs for the centre and Piganò/Pigenò.
