Ansitz Jenner is a 17th century building with a high medieval core, once owned by the Jenner family,  who settled in Chiusa/Klausen in the 17th century. The son Matthias Jenner founded there Monastery of Sabiona in 1686.

His brother Michael Jenner continued the family business after Matthias Jenner’s death (1691) and was raised to nobility in 1696.

Ansitz Jenner is an elongated building facing East-West with a gable façade, two bow windows at the corners, a sandstone staircase and a rectangular door with sandstone embrasure. Inside there is a vaulted corridor as well as a wooden field ceiling and frescoes on the bow window’s vault, with floral ornaments and a medallion depicting the Madonna and a saintly figure.

On the eastern side, on the ground floor, there is a wood-panelled parlour with a barrel vault ceiling (dated 1370);  on the southern façade you can see the date 1616.
